2iQ sells insider transactions across about 50 countries, plus a sentiment score. The US Form 4 and Form 5 file is already classified and joined to a person. The other regimes are public filings, one parser at a time.
The row stays fast. The US file is 11.28 million classified Form 4 and Form 5 transactions across 19,910 issuers, joined to 209,003 people, with a clean panel from 2004. About 800,000 planned sales were recovered from footnotes. Their pages read today say 8.1 million transactions, 200,000 insiders, 60,000 stocks, and 50 countries. FactSet's description of the same vendor is 450,000 insiders. The factsheet still linked from the site is dated December 2022 and says 58 countries, 12 million lines, and 476,580 insiders. Those other countries are public reports we have not loaded. A Bloomberg, FactSet, or PermID on their feed stays a license. The sentiment score is a model.

| Form 4 and Form 5 | The quantitative page, read 2026-10-15, says the database holds 8.1 million transactions by 200,000 insiders, across 60,000 stocks in 50 countries, with 12 years of history on average. The same figures are on the why-2iQ page and the process page. FactSet's description of the file, recorded in the insider note, is 8 million-plus transactions and 450,000 insiders in 50 countries. | 11.28 million classified Form 4 and Form 5 transactions, across 19,910 US issuers, checked 2026-09-19. The clean panel runs from 2004. The second half of 2003 is partial. Each row is an open-market buy or sell, a planned sale, an exercise, a tax withholding, an award, or other. A Form 3 is the starting position and is kept beside the transactions. | Ahead |
| Planned sale versus a discretionary sale | The model page uses a tax-driven sale of an equity award as the example of a trade that says little about sentiment, and a chief executive adding to a position as the example that does. | A planned sale is separated from a discretionary sale. About 800,000 planned sales were recovered from the footnote, including years before the SEC checkbox existed. Checked 2026-09-19. | Ahead |
| The person | Every insider on the quantitative page carries a unique insider ID. The process page says analysts establish who is behind an entity, and align management roles to a proprietary international hierarchy. | 209,003 people, checked 2026-09-19. The US filer identifier collapses the same person across every issuer without a name match. That person also carries the proxy, the adviser record, and the deals. A name match across countries is a model on filings we have not loaded. | Ahead |
| Amendments | The quantitative page lists filing-amendment updates. | Amended Form 4 and Form 5 filings are in the classified count. A later filing replaces the earlier one. | Match |
| Vesting and option expiry | The pages read today describe event tags for mergers and private placements, and a sentiment score. They do not describe a calendar of vesting dates or option expiries. | Option-expiry dates and vesting dates are parsed from US footnotes into a forward calendar. Checked 2026-09-19. | Ahead |

| Countries beyond the US | The pages read today say 50 countries and 60,000 stocks. The factsheet still linked from those pages is dated December 2022 and says something else: 58 countries excluding Taiwan, 100,000-plus companies of which 55,859 have insider transactions, 12 million lines, 476,580 insiders, and history from 16 April 1999. | The insider file in house is the US file above. A UK, Canadian, or other insider report is a public filing in that country's regime, and it is not loaded. SEDAR company filings continue through QuoteMedia. A Canadian insider report is a separate regime from those company filings. | Partial |
| One role scheme | The process page says analysts assign hierarchical positions by hand, onto a standardized international schema. The quantitative page lists harmonised insider roles. | A US title is already canonicalized, including directors whose form left the title blank. An international role scheme is a model on each country's form. It is not built. | Partial |
| Related parties and event tags | The quantitative page lists related-party identification and event tags for mergers, private placements, and similar events. The process page says analysts check the footnote and the news for the entity behind a trade. | The footnote is in the US filing we parse. A tag that says the trade was a placement, or that the buyer is a holding company, is a model on that text. The international version waits on the filing. | Partial |

| Sentiment score | The model page ranks companies by insider sentiment and sells the score as a portfolio input. It offers a methodology white paper on request and prints no backtest figure. The quantitative page calls the score a trading signal. | A score trained on the classified US trades is our model. Their score, and any result they have not published, stays their result. | Partial |
| Alerts | The homepage sells customized emails for a universe and alerts for dealings on a watchlist. The quantitative page offers the file by API, real time, or end of day. | The US filing is in the book. A consumer email, and a stated real-time push interval, are not in the insider note of 2026-09-19. | Partial |
| Vendor identifiers | The quantitative page matches the feed to Bloomberg Open Symbology, Thomson Reuters PermID and RIC, and other ticker symbols. The homepage shows logos for FactSet, Bloomberg, Wharton Research Data Services, FIS, Liquidnet, and Verus. | The company and the person are our identifiers. A Bloomberg, FactSet, or PermID attached to their row stays a license. | Beside |
| What a seat costs | The pages read today say contact us. No dollar price is printed. The December 2022 factsheet prints none either. | The US filing half of the product is already in house. A seat price for this screen is not set. No dollar figure is quoted, because the pages did not include one. | Ahead |
Ahead The feature is data we already hold, in a form an investor can use.
Match Both products do this.
Partial We have the US half, or the raw material for the model, and not their finished global file.

Beside A Bloomberg, FactSet, or PermID on the feed is a license. Our company and person identifiers are ours.
